Henry J. Kirksey Middle School
Completed in 2010, the Henry J. Kirksey Middle School was designed to accommodate 400 students, with the capacity for future expansion by an additional 250 students. Mc3lroy Architecture, PLLC, approached the design with a focus on enhancing the student learning experience by incorporating natural daylight throughout corridors, classrooms, and assembly spaces.
The facility features 27 classrooms, including 14 standard classrooms, 3 science labs, 2 technology labs, an art room, a tiered choral room, and a band room. Additional amenities include a gymnatorium, cafeteria, speech and hearing room, health room, and a library/media center, all designed to support a dynamic and engaging educational environment.
