Completed in 2016, the Barkdull Faulk Elementary School project in Monroe, Louisiana, included extensive renovations and additions to enhance the existing facility. A key feature of the expansion is a multi-functional space designed to accommodate the school’s cafeteria, gymnasium, and auditorium needs.

The new facility provides space for physical education classes and an auditorium large enough to seat the 250-student body. Designed to complement the existing Spanish Mission-style architecture, the expansion includes a new kitchen and cafeteria, capable of serving 50 students per seating.
Spanning 12,500 square feet, the facility maximizes functionality by integrating dual-purpose spaces. The gymnasium is equipped for basketball, volleyball, traverse climbing, and other physical activities, with seating for approximately 100 spectators. For performances and assemblies, retractable bleachers convert the gym into an auditorium, accommodating an audience of up to 300.
