The A.W. Mumford Stadium North End Zone Addition is a 92,000-square-foot, three-story facility completed in 2009. It features approximately 65,000 square feet of support areas and 28,000 square feet of grandstand and plaza space. Mc3LROY staff collaborated closely with the owner from the initial programming stages through project completion, ensuring that the final design aligned with the owner’s vision. The result is a state-of-the-art facility that seamlessly integrates with the campus aesthetics. Designed as a premier football and track support facility, it serves as a symbol of excellence in both academics and athletics, reinforcing Southern University Jaguars’ recruiting efforts.
