DESCRIPTION
Renovated in 2007, Long-Jones Hall is one of the oldest and most historic buildings on the Grambling State University campus. Centrally located, it serves as the university’s main administrative facility. Due to its age, the building required extensive renovations, including window replacements and exterior restorations, to preserve its legacy while enhancing functionality. Committed to upholding its motto, “Where Everybody is Somebody, “Grambling State University sought to create an administrative facility that students and staff could take pride in. Mc3LROY Architecture led the renovation efforts, which included brick restoration, painting, window replacement, gutter replacement, soffit and molding restoration, and the refurbishment of the cupola and dormers. The project successfully revitalized Long-Jones Hall, ensuring it remains a distinguished and welcoming centerpiece of the campus.
