The Southern University Intramural Sports Center, completed in 2011, is a 53,000-square-foot facility that embodies the university’s dedication to excellence in education, athletics, and student well-being. Designed to foster a healthy and active lifestyle, the center incorporates modern building technologies and offers a diverse range of programs. The Intramural Sports Department provides both competitive and recreational activities, including volleyball, flag football, basketball, fitness training, aerobics, weightlifting, and track events, serving students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, and the broader university community.
